Porcelain, Glassware & Tabletop Stewardship


Partnership Overview

Service Steward seeks select hospitality partners with professional back-of-house infrastructure to support controlled warewashing and handling for luxury tabletop assets.

This partnership is not staffingnot catering, and not shared operations.

It is a facility access agreement for disciplined, off-hour use of certified warewashing environments under Service Steward supervision.


Partnership Objective

  • Enable hotel-grade sanitation and handling for luxury porcelain, glassware, silverware, and server ware
  • Preserve material integrity and presentation quality
  • Operate quietly, cleanly, and without disruption to partner operations

Service Steward remains fully responsible for all inventory, labor, insurance, and compliance.


Scope of Use

Included

  • Use of commercial dishwashing equipment
  • Access to designated wash sinks
  • Use of drying and staging surfaces
  • Limited storage during wash cycle (same-day or overnight by agreement)

Excluded

  • Food preparation
  • Cooking equipment
  • Refrigeration
  • Chemical supply usage (Service Steward provides all consumables)
  • Staff usage (no partner labor involved)

Operating Window

Preferred access windows (flexible by agreement):

  • Overnight (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
  • Mid-day off-peak (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM)

No access during active service periods unless explicitly approved.


Handling & Operational Control

Service Steward provides:

  • Trained BOH stewards only
  • All racks, crates, and protective materials
  • China-safe detergents and sanitizers
  • Written SOPs governing every wash lane

Partner provides:

  • Facility access only
  • Functional equipment in standard operating condition

All handling, loading, washing, drying, and packing is performed exclusively by Service Steward personnel.


Material Separation Standards

Service Steward operates under strict isolation protocols:

  • Porcelain, glassware, and silverware washed in separate cycles
  • No mixed loads with food service items
  • No floral materials present in dish areas
  • No towel drying or stacking while wet

These standards are non-negotiable and designed to protect both parties.


Compliance & Documentation

Service Steward maintains and can provide:

  • NSF/ANSI equipment compatibility confirmation
  • Sanitizer SDS sheets
  • Temperature and sanitation logs
  • Inventory intake and release logs

Partner is not required to modify existing compliance procedures.


Insurance & Risk Allocation

Service Steward carries:

  • General Liability (minimum $1M–$2M)
  • Bailee’s coverage (property in our care)
  • Inland marine / transport coverage

Partner:

  • Bears no responsibility for inventory damage, loss, or breakage
  • Is named as additionally insured where required

All risk related to Service Steward inventory remains with Service Steward.


Compensation Structure (Illustrative)

Partnership terms may include one or more of the following:

  • Hourly facility access fee
  • Per-rack or per-event usage fee
  • Monthly retainer for reserved access windows
  • Optional storage fee (if applicable)

All terms are negotiated in advance and documented.


Confidentiality & Discretion

  • No branding or public reference required
  • No marketing obligation for partner
  • All activity conducted discreetly and professionally

This partnership is designed to be operationally invisible.
